chapter 7
In this Chapter 7 Project, my partner and I explored the use of z-scores, the empirical rule, and distributions. For this project, my partner and I surveyed the Junior and Senior classes to discover how many hours they spent on electronics per day. The overall goal of this project was to use the formulas for z-score and normal distribution to make predictions and evaluations over our collected data set. We found that our data values did not create a normal distribution, and our data was relatively spread out. From this project, my partner and I learned that out of the people who responded to our survey, most of them spent up to 4 hours on their electronics a day.
