The Chapter 8 Project my partner and I received was one that required more calculations than searching for data. Instead of collecting data, my partner and I were given data points describing the width of little neck clams in Garrison Bay. The goal of this project was to find values like the standard deviation, critical values, and confidence interval for this set of data. My partner and I found that the confidence levels were not as spread out as much as we thought they would be. We learned that if we would have known the standard deviation for this set of data, we could have used different formulas to solve it.
